Why Mess With The Moon?

Dear Nasa,

You must be bored.

Friday Means Happy, Happy Thoughts

It's Friday and I'm tired and basically brainless after a week with stinky, yakky, tobaccy, cussy, mind-numbingly one-topicy, slightly amusing creatures. Not to mention the ice-cold dawn from hell at 30 degrees wind chill by the river. I'm so happy that I have TWO WHOLE DAYS of back in my cave, with my own fantasies ;-).

First, I know you can do better with the contest I posted for yesterday's cover. Come on, a $10 Amazon certificate!

Also, moment of self-pimpery: please post in your other favorite forums and blogs about Big Bad Wolf at Amazon. Or, if you are at your local UBS, tell your friendly bookstore owner about my book and that I can sell to them at a discounted price. It would really help me and my one-woman crew. Thank you!

Finally, you don't mind if I kick back and post a few eye- and mind-refresheners, do you? It's important to start the weekend right!

Still On The Leak From Limbo

Limbo because it's like I'm numb now from the owner's love of calling me on the cell phone to ask inane questions about his roof ;-/. Also, the rot that we'd thought were just limited to a few pieces of 2X4 is actually worse, so...more crapentry work. Me lurvs crapentry work in the 100 degree sun, yessssshhhhh.

So, no new chapter till tonight, I hope. So sorry.

But, let's catch up with what you've been reading. Any recommendations? I just finished Ilona Andrews' Magic Bites and Magic Burns. So gooood! It's urban fantasy with vampires and weres, and our heroine is a "troubleshooter," for some kind of magical Order. Of course, she's more than she seems and as the story progresses, shows these extra powers, but we're kept in the dark, with only hints here and there. I thought the author did a great job of keeping this "reveal," much, much better than the "can't tell you because this is the device to get you into lots of trouble" and "won't tell you because we just can't communicate" methods in a couple of my favorite UF series. Can't wait for Book 3!

Writing is just like meowing, heehee. All weekend, I've been watching TV, rolling around, and reading books, and every time the Alpha Male drops by to get me to do something, I go, "Meow. Writing. Meow." Heehee.

Friday Frou Frou

After looking at my research into sperm donation in China and donkey shows in South America, do you still think me weird for indulging in sexy veges? I think not. My kind of perversion does not need brain bleach or make you scrub your eyeballs out, so there, pffffft.

It's February already, believe it or not. Life's going fast, isn't it?

Bad Puppy turned one year old. For his birthday, I bought him his own man titty book to tear up ;-). He still does the dogfu thing when I'm not at home and somehow snatches books from the lower shelves.

Bad Puppy is Bad Stud too. I caught him trying to do the studly thang to my TWELVE year-old Mira! I told him that it's against the law. She's, like, 84 years old, you...you...horny dog. That's all I need, little Bad Puppies running around the mad house.

I'm looking forward to buying Meljean Brook's new book. Talking about stud, every time I look at her cover, I want to have the his baby. Now, that's serious eye candy there. What are you adding to your TBR mountain this month?

I think, to clean our eyes, I should post some nice eye candy this weekend. With kilts ;-). What do y'all say to that? (A resounding Nooooooo....right?)
