It's that day! Better gargle...breath mints...take a shower!
YOOHOO, I bet you didn't get this for Valentine's day!
My publicist sent me two so that I can have two contests--one for my wonderful blog readers who've stuck with me for EIGHTEEN MONTHS reading my posts about the book. The other is for my newsletter and YAHOOgroup readers.
They are in large print, look like trade paperbacks but the real thing on the shelves this May is regular paperback size.
STREET DATE: End of April, 2007.
Now I have to think of rules, time of, and questions for the contests. Do you think one month is TOO LONG for an ARC contest?
How much chocolate and bribes are these babies worth, huh, huh? ;-)

I don't believe I need to enter a contest since a certain author promised me an ARC for some glasses of wine, so I've already done my bribing, LOL.
Your ARCs look great chick!
I don't think a month is too long for a contest but the winner just needs to get in before the street date so it's more fun having it before everyone else.

How much chocolate can you eat? :)
Laur
sure happy valentine day !
they look very good !!
Oooh :D ARC's look gorgeous! *pictures the finished books face out * I definitely agree with Leiha in that one month isn't too long for a contest...especially if it's going to be something fun. Of course, I wouldn't mind so terribly if, say, one of them ended up on it's way to NY when you came to visit ;)
Stacey
(who is stuck inside due to reoccuring headaches and uberslippery conditions...)
Jenn, I'm gonna get me one of those things, just see if I don't. :o)

Aha! The ARC Hos are out! ;-)
Leiha,
You will get a package, not neccessarily looking so pretty, in the mail as soon as I get to an Office Depot!
Ha,
Laur, you have an unfair advantage since you can cart back Parisian stuff AND calendars ;-).
Kim,
They are really weird-looking for ARCS--look kinda like professor text books!
Stacey,
Be careful out there! So darn cold and wet. I'm crossing my fingers it won't be cold when I drop by soon.
Dee,
I hope you enjoy the book and you must let me know what you think!
Athena,
Heeheehee. When I first heard about ARCs, I thought that it was unfair too that reviewers get to read them before ME. LOL.
