It's Freezing in D.C.

Hiya from DC.!

I haven't had time to update the blog because uber author is playing uber babysitter!

This is my youngest niece Niki, who is two months old. Sweeeeeeeeet. She didn't cry once while I've been here and she even let me write a page or two while carrying her on my lap (puter on sofa).

Between long noisy conversations between mommie and siblings, I haven't had a chance to do more than restore the blog of all the stuff that disappeared with the template update. To make things worse, all the cool videos I've collected for your viewing pleasure all these months are now unclickable too, courtesy of Google-owned YouTube zealots.

Super Bowl has been replaced by 24/7 of Chinese kung fu soap operas and you know what, it's totally possible to live in DC and not know that you're among white folks if you just stay at home, talk Chinese all day with your siblings, eat mommie's cooking, and watch Chinese shows on Direct Cable. Even my Malaysian accented Engrish has returned!

Anyway, I did catch Prince shaking it on stage during halftime of the Super Bowl but other than that, didn't get to see much of the game. It looks like the Bears are going to lose at this moment. Poor shuffling babees.

I took my mom to see the Orchid Show at the Museum of Natural History. These flowers were so beautiful! Some of them were the size of small saucers, draping artistically with vines and a manmade woodsy background. Sigh. I wish I can grown exotic flowers.
