Mood today:
Wow, you girls are SERIOUS about this Jed interview! I had no idea that Jed's answer would start a mathematical frenzy! And quite a few of you have emailed me that they were disappointed to learn that Jed might be five foot nine. I'm qualifying with the might be because our math experts in the Comment Area is still disputing this ;-). There are some who came up with five feet ten and the half, LOL.
Would an inch and a half taller make Jed more of a hero?
;-)
Too funny, and yet, interesting. We don't like short heros! Do you remember a book by Nora Roberts with a really short hero? He was shorter than the heroine, if I recalled. I didn't like that book as much as her other books primarily because of that.
Ranger Buddy is a short man, yet he's the most alpha and manly man I know, with a big heart and the personality of a hero. Some of the guys used to make fun of him, yet his height never bothered him at all. One of the funniest thing was that he somehow managed to get a much TALLER height on his driver's license, so when we called him "short %&#$," he would say, "Whatchootalkin' about? My driver's license says I'm 5 foot 9!" To him, 5 foot 9 is tall ;-). I still don't know how the person at the DL was tricked into putting that as his height!

Funny how so many of us are into height for the guys, but, you know, 5'9" is still taller than I. LOL
Remember the show LA Law? A couple of actors were also married in real life. He (Michael Tucker) was significantly less tall than she (Jill Eikenberry), but they made it work. Always remember the Venus Butterfly scene in that show. hehehehehe
Well, Mary, you know how TINY I am! Everyone is tall!
And I used to watch LA Law religiously when I was in grad school. Thursday nights was my Stay At Home TV night!
