Shhhhhh. ::making inhuman moans::
There are gremlins in my head. And they are rolling around right behind the eyeballs.
I celebrated Mardi Gras and Chinese New Year at the Daytona 500. I think I overdid one festivity. Augghhrghghh. Not thinking, not thinking. ::emitting inhuman moans:: You know you're seriously hurting when scrolling the puter screen make your eyeballs scream.
That was ONE SERIOUS PAHTY by the track. I hadn't had so much fun in a while. Our seats were just across from the pitstop, ten rows up! So we saw everything, including the photo finish.
I wanted Mark Martin to win since my boy Jeff was not a contender and he was sooooo close but second by a fender "don't mean shit" in this business. Poor dude. I put his roof on, you know.
If I sound kinda out of it, it's because I'm really not feeling too good at this moment. ::delivering more inhuman sounds:: But hey, duty to the blog calleth, so I...or what is left of my brain cells...am reporting in.
I wish I have something pithy to say right now, like...umm....
1) Say, those cars sure zipped by incredibly fast!
2) Wow, I got to stop drinking. Are the wheels suppose to be on top of the car?
3) Funny why everyone around us is wearing hats and gloves and hugging on to blankets. It isn't THAT cold....
4) Awesome! Car on fire!
5) No fair! They get to drive fast and all I get is this stinky teeshirt.

Ha! The Year of the Boar brought some goodies! Check this out:
No, NOT HIM! The ticket in the foreground! That's a $150 entry to the Daytona 500 today!
YEEEHAAAA! My friend's taking me to the biggest NASCAR race! I've never been in one, although I've been an avid fan for the last dozen years. Not with ticket prices out of reach (black market is in the thousands) and the traffic after the races a nightmare.
But. Heck. It's free ;-).
This weekend is strange because not only is it Chinese New Year, it's also Mardi Gras, the NBA All-Stars Weekend and the Daytona 500 weekend (huge in this part of the world). So I think, to celebrate, I'll go with lots of beads around my neck, a basket ball in one hand, my Jeff Gordon 1995 Champion hat on my head, and a Chinese firecracker in the other hand. You think they're going to let me in?
