Your Tempting Trouble Discussion Thread

Someone asked for a discussion thread for the newest GLow book. Here it is!

You may talk about Lance and Grace, Jed, and all the other characters in the story, as well as ask me questions. As this book has some ties with Big Bad Wolf, you're welcomed to bring in questions about that story too.

I hope you enjoyed Grace's crazy daringness as much as I did. She was fun to write because she's such a youthful, devil-may-care character, especially with her upbringing. And I hope you enjoyed Lance too, who started a track-mission five years ago and ends it in this book, with the "capture" of Grace ;).

Thank you, everyone, for all your support of my inde venture. It's fun bringing all these stories to live without going through years of rejection!

Bear with me while I learn. The first button likes the POST. The second button likes the BLOG site. Please help me by "liking" me. Thanks!

I enjoyed the romance and adventure very much! Grace certainly grew up from BBW into what Trouble :-). I love the chase she gave Lance and laughed like a maniac every time Lance thought he 'had' her and found out he didn't. Question: Will this couple turn up in more books?

I LOVED the book. Grace is such a great character, with many of her Dad's good qualities and characteristics. At the beginning of the book, I was laughing thinking, she dissects everything the way Jed did in Virtually Hers. Truthfully, what gave me the greatest pleasure was having Jed be part of the action and getting an additional part of his past revealed. Great read.

I have the book but have not gotten around to it yet. I know there are a lot of characters to keep up with, and want a few days of uninterrupted reading time to sink my teeth into this book! It's been a long time coming, too. I have hoped for years that you weren't done writing about this beloved group! What about T? Will we get more of her in the future?

Anon: Yes, Lance didn't know what hit him, did he? In reply to your question, yes, I think they will show up. After all, Grace still need to meet this mysterious H! Right?

Gennita said...

Alund, Grace is indeed her father's daughter. I laughed too whenever I think of how Jed has to deal with a little female version of him. Not so deadly, of course, but still....

Jed seems to be a character who can't share himself and has also resigned himself to not being able to get a woman to understand this part of himself. Hmm. I wonder if he could find that in Hell?

Teri,

Yes, T and Alex will get their turn. I need to finish a few more projects first before them but they're chomping (okay, Alex is chomping, T not so much) at the bit.

I hope you enjoy Grace and Lance's story! Grace's blend of youthful humor and sly wit has always been really fun for me.

Hey, Gennita,
Love, love, love Grace and Lance together! They really make a great couple. Everyone, did you want a paragraph or three of Lance thinking back on that hunt and maybe trying to recall Grace? I wanted that!

alund said...

I do hope it's Hell, otherwise no Virtually One!

So are we seeing Trouble as the next Number 9.1? Jed's mini me could sub for him every once in a while, don't you think? Will we be seeing more of her in future books?

Gennita said...

Leslie,
Really, Lance's thinking about that particular hunt? Hmm. maybe in a later book.

Alund,
Umm, I think Jed would rather eat glass than let Grace become a Virus, lol. i don't think he even likes the idea of her being a "ghost." But I do see their paths crossing at the most unexpected places, and even if he might not show it, much to Jed's exasperation ;).

Also, would I dedicate a trilogy to a couple if it's not Hell? That's a lot of emotional investment there.

These are great questions, btw!

alund said...

Okay, who is Laetitia? I initially thought we were going to get the Mistress of Disguise a/k/a T, but no such luck. Why does she dislike Jed so much? Did she try to get in his head to no avail? Another past girlfriend?

alund said...

I don't know Jenn, there was a point towards the end when mini me became the Ice Woman with her captor. When pressed, I think she'll deliver.

Gennita said...

Alund,
Laetitia is just a minor character, hopefully (I'm not sure yet!) not connected with GEM. I think she dislikes Jed because he has messed with her before. Jed actually tries to intervene, saying that he could bring someone else in to help Grace and here he is implying T but you know T is running around the world at that point and I do find it interesting that Laetitia points out about time being the issue here.

Gennita said...

Alund,
Oh yeah, Grace at the end does show a bit of Jed's style, doesn't she ;)? Did you notice, before that, she shows a lot of NIKKI's style? No? Heehee.

I was wondering about Jed being in town. Is this tied to Virtually His or was it Hers? when he returned with blood on his shoes? Oh!!! He's been kicking Charlie-butt!

alund said...

So T is still running away from Number One, huh? And hunting Max?

alund said...

Never thought about Grace being like Nikki! How old was Grace when Jed found her?

Gennita said...

MKJohnson,
My readers always astound me with their memory of all the details of the books! Also scares me a little ;/.

To answer your question, yes, Jed kicked some ass and maybe more in DC.

Gennita said...

Alund,
I think this is around the time T is in Europe. She's doing all this running around to avoid being at COMCEN with youknowwho, of course. But that's another story....

Grace was around 10 or 11 when Jed brought Nikki home.

I hope this post will show up on this thread this time. . . arrrggghhh!!!! This is my 3rd attempt.
I love Lance & Grace's story. It was such fun to see Lance being outwitted by Grace on several occasions. Of course, His royal Jedness made an appearance, too, so now I can't wait for Virtually One to be available.
Add to this, I am dying to read Alex and T's story. Theirs is the longest suspense ever : )

Hi Diana!
I don't think I could have written this story without a Jedness appearance. First, the readers will kill me ;). Second, he would kill me after that because this is his daughter I'm writing about, you know.

The scariest thing about T and Alex's story is how they seem to have built into this great Big Love and I'm worried I won't be able to fulfill everyone's fantasy of them!

Anonymous said...

LOL! That's so funny about Jed killing you : )
Yup, can't wait for the BIG love to be revealed. I mean in Virtually Hers alone when Alex murmured this to T inside an elevator: "I was thinking of you pregnant with my baby" OMG! Totally took my breath away!
