I learned this morning that Beverly Barton passed away suddenly a few days ago.

She was one of the first SIM authors I read and was a member of the RWA. Ms. Barton was 64.

Even I was so shocked and saddened to hear this news. She was one terrific author and her protector series remains very close to my heart.
