Christmas through New Year is always a slow time for blogging and news. Not on the highway in Florida. Our cops here think it festive to dress up as elves and give out speeding tickets as presents. Niiiiiice. Wonder whether my taxes paid for their cute costumes.

I'll pick the winner of the Keanu! Klaatu Barada Nikto! later today. You guys are too kind to dear KeanuKlaatu. Either that, or you're in a good Christmas and giving mood ;-).
So, are you done with your gift-shopping? Are there anything out there that is a must-have? I have two 17 year-olds and a young teen to shop for and I have no idea what to give them, since I know what they want is out of my budget zone. Gah.
Maybe you can help?

Nice cops you have there Jenn! :-)
The cops we have around here just keep their "Bah Humbug" game faces on. At least you get an elf! LOL! You know the ages you are buying for, gift cards to the music store or a mall certificate make great gifts. They seem to think at that that no one knows how to buy for them anyway and they LOVE money I've found. Just a thought.
That is so cute. Of course I'm saying that safely in my own home which is far away from Florida. LOL
In PA, they dress up as
construction crews and actually sit in trucks along the roads!
I have a 17 year old myself and gift cards for any place that sells cds or books is always a sure bet. Good Luck!
An iTunes gift card is always appreciated, assuming of course that they have iPods. ;)
I have two 17 year old nieces -their tastes are total opposites.
Gift cards are always hot, as is money.
Some gifts I've purchased have been shower gels, lotion and nail polish sets. Chocolate Santa is always good too!
I am only shopping for my little alpha males-in training this year. They are still easy to shop for, look for Star Wars or Lego and it's sure to be a hit (Lego Star Wars wins me double supermom points). As for myself I got me........ more books. Got me the L.A. Banks vamps, hope they're good.
Yes, gift cards is the only idea I have and I gave one to the male teenager last year because he was given a car for Christmas. I mean, what do you get a boy who just got a car for Christmas????!
So I was hoping this year I could think of something other than a gift card, something that wouldn't cost me my week's groceries ;-). I know, I'm such a scrooge this year!
Casee,
It is NOT CUTE to dress up as elves and give people $200 fines! Grrr. Bad Evil Elves.
Hey Jenn, since he just got a car, how about a bucket with car stuff in it like Amorall or car wash. You know, things that he can clean is ride up with? Boys like to do that sort of thing you know.
