Nothing's That Simple

Have you ever been this angry?

(Oct. 9) - A Cambodian couple who separated after 40 years of marriage may have taken things too literally when it came to splitting their assets: The husband cut the house in two.

I swear to you, sometimes my current mood brings me articles that mirrors itself. I was just reading news around the world when this caught my eye.

**************

It's rainy and just the night to read a book. I think I'm going to curl up with Bad Puppy and reread one of my favorite Linda Howards--Shades of Twilight. For some reason, I have this urge to sniffle at Web's counting Ro's attempts to smile.

Never fails to make me all choked up.

What's your favorite sniffly scene?

Bear with me while I learn. The first button likes the POST. The second button likes the BLOG site. Please help me by "liking" me. Thanks!

Oh man I would have totally cut the house too. That was then, I'm much more sedate now. Really

Heh... saw a blurb about this house. As hubby said, after 40 years of marriage you'd think you had already fought over everything it was possible to fight about.

Sniffly scene, huh? Let's see, I cried a lot reading Jane Eyre. ;)

Hey! Did you see the news from Liz Maverick? I got to find that book!!

bwahahaha!! That's something I'm going to show my husband. Too funny.

Webb's counting always make me sniffly, too. Of course I can't bring any other scene to mind at the moment. LOL

Forgot about the sniffles.... The last Harry Potter book, I started sobbing whith Hedwig and the tears never did stop. Iron Kissed by Patricia Briggs made me sad too. Harmony's Way by Lora Leigh, torwards the end when Harmony though Lance would die and vowed to follow him. Hmmmmmmm, those are the ones I remember most, I don't think there is one author with the knack for making me all sad.
Jenn if Cumber ever marries I will cry, and mourn him for a year.....maybe more.

Do you know the many levels of anger and resentment--hate, even--that built up all the energy so NEATLY cut the house in exact two AND move a part of it FAR, FAR away from your object of hate?

I'm imagining, lots.

The real question is, what was in that side of the house? Was it the bedroom and bathroom? The kitchen and living room? What would be the more important half to have? Hmmm... thoughts to ponder.

The library!

Okay, maybe not the library. If it were me, I'll take the living room and the kitchen. I can sleep on the sofa ;-).
