My flight arrives in Newark at 1.30pm. So, with cab and hotel registration time, I should be able to get to the book store by about 4pm, right?

By this time tomorrow, weather permitting, I will be 14,000 above ground and steering my parachute for a soft landing. Yup, 14,000 feet in the air and 120mph. Take that, Jeff Gordon!
If I survive it, you will hear all about my screams on this blog ;-). If I chicken out, I will kill myself in shame and dishonor and will come back as a sexy vege to haunt you. If the weather isn't conducive, then I'll be going another day. If I don't make it...I love you guys! Morbid, isn't that last line? LOL.
I think the experience will clear the writing block I've been suffering from lately, what do you think? Nothing like having a head rush to clear the cobwebs, I say.
I'll write down all your non-PC recs in a comprehensive list on Sunday. Several of you added some REALLY shudderingly non-PC ones!
What shall I shout out before I jump out of the airplane? I LOVE HIS JEDNESS? Holy Cowabunga? MoMMmmmmmy...? Sing a song?
Any suggestions from you? And oh, wish me luck! LOTS!!!!
Bear with me while I learn. The first button likes the POST. The second button likes the BLOG site. Please help me by "liking" me. Thanks!

Hope you're strapped to a moonlighting SEAL! It'll make the way down so much more fun... BTW, I screamed sh*t until my chute opened. Just one choice, I know, out of so many. Hope the weather's perfect.
Cecily
Lucky you! I have never done it, but always wanted to. I could never find someone to do it with me, so I have decided to make it my birthday present to myself next year. I hope you enjoy it. It looks fun and exhilarting.
Deb
Jenn, you deserve a prize just for daring to do it so if you survive, I'll let you have Jed.
Skydiving?
That is GREAT!!
Good luck!
I've gone sky-diving, but I did it tandem because I was ONLY doing it for the free-fall part. They take you up much higher if your a newbie and your going tandem. Plus, you wouldn't believe the ex-military guy I had strapped to my back... YOWZA!
I think you'll have a blast!
Biggest Jerkasaurus alpha I can remember is Killoran from To Love a Dark Lord, Anne Stuart 1994.
What an ass LOL
Cecily,
The weather was great, just a bit windy. I didn't scream! Yay!
Deborah,
do tandem. It's a lot easier because you just worry about one thing--YOU! LOL.
Elaine,
I survived so JED IS MINE! Nyah, nyah.
Raine,
I paid extra for a video. What do you think? Did I make a fool of myself? ;-)
Aimee,
I couldn't go solo even if I'd wanted to. You have to take six classes and those cost $$$! Tandem is the way to go first time, anyway.
The freefall was a blast! I don't know how the experienced once can float and think about holding hands and doing acrobatics. I already had a hard time thinking righting myself!
Good Jerkosaurus choice!
