Here's a real live romance. Harlequin Books and Sandal Resorts teamed up in a contest asking for couples to send in an entry describing their everlasting love in 50 words or less. (Me: 50 words or less! Yoikes. Shakespeare, anybody?) Anyway, the winners will be featured as a couple on a Valentine cover of a Harlequin book in 2008.
Here's the winning entry:
"Eleven years of an endless honey-moon. 132 months of breakfast in bed. 3984 days of wine and roses. 95616 hours of making love by the sea. 5,736,960 minutes of enduring romance. And 344,217,600 seconds of being with the one who completes our soul = Patrick + Deanna, Forever."
That's really Patrick and Deanna on the cover. Sweet, huh? Makes me all gooshy inside reading their entry ;-).
You can read all about this here:
PUBLISHER'S WEEKLY "Endless Honeymoon"
Can you write a fifty word entry about your relationship with any of your partners? ;-) I'm sure mine wouldn't have sounded quite so romantic. More like, 3000-plus back-breaking roofs later, I'm still one Very hot babe in August. Or something like dat.

Speaking of August heat, t's my Birthday Month, by the way. So for much of this month, I'll celebrate with pics of Hawtness. For me. I'm sure you won't mind celebrating my month with me, right? ;-) Because no Gennita birthmonth is complete without some KILTS!
Happy Birthmonth to Me...
The last pic was randomly found on the Net but it has a watermarked copyright to Bodyshots.
Bear with me while I learn. The first button likes the POST. The second button likes the BLOG site. Please help me by "liking" me. Thanks!

The sight of bare Scottish ass is a delight is it not?? It is even making me feel better and I have the most manky tonsillitis you can imagine. Blech!
Happy b-day month chick! Now you must tell me what that lovely crew do in honor of your b-day, something special I hope!
Happy B'day! I guess you can be considered a Merdeka Baby.
All that kilt-clad men have me dreaming of seeing Gerry Butler in one. I can still recall the time when the thought of Christopher Lambert in a kilt in Highlander would have me sighing. Boy, was I young at the time! I don't think I realised he wasn't actually Scottish then. It was also time when many romances featured a dashing/brooding Scottish Laird... Julie Garwood wrote really good Scottish Lairds.
Wow! Happy Birthday to a fellow August baby. My day was a couple weeks back. Love the kilt pictures!! I've been reading my way through Karen Moning's Highlander novels too so the pics couldn't have come at a better time!! :)
Happy Birthday month Jenn! Hope you get lots of "presents."
Oh, and ACH! MY EYES!
