There was a total lunar eclipse early this morning. Did you catch it?
In the olden days, they believed a dragon lived up in the sky and periodically, he battled the moon and ate it. The color of blood around an eclipsed moon (Blood Moon) gave the illusion of the battle in the sky.
And two weeks later, it's a solar eclipse! Another hungry dragon to battle.
In astrology, depending on individual charts, lunar eclipses signal important events/projects/something personal ending, public downfalls, and things that need to be finished (ahem, my book), and solar eclipses trigger new beginnings coming and growth.

In Romancelandia, Rob Ashton was one of the "icons" that graced romance covers. He had been Romantic Times Magazine's Mr. Romance in the mid-90s and was very popular among those readers who enjoy romance cover art. As his career flourished, Rob Ashton has branched out as a personal physical fitness trainer.
I'm sad to report that Mr. Ashton passed away a few days ago after a long illness. This was reported at http://www.robashton.com/ and to me from my RBL friends. There will be an article commemorating Mr. Ashton in a future issue of the Romantic Times Book Club Magazine.
My condolences to Rob Ashton's family, friends, and fans, many of whom regularly "talked" to him at his forum.

And what dragons are you fighting these days, my friends? Because I can't be the only one battling out here ;-).
Bear with me while I learn. The first button likes the POST. The second button likes the BLOG site. Please help me by "liking" me. Thanks!

I saw this moon it was gorgeous. Given what you said about the astrology, some things are beginning to make sense now. As for dragons, I feel like I'm in Reign of Fire. LOL! ;)
I missed the eclipse, I saw it at around 10pm though, and though there was no eclipse, it was full and beautiful and bright as a small sun.
I was so shocked to hear of Rob's death. I learned of him at RBL and he was one of those kinds of people I expected to just be around forever. My heart aches for his family and friends :(
I don't believe in astrology as a life guide/forecast, but as for Dragons, mine is trying to be what everyone needs me to be, wife, mother, friend, counseler, boss... I love the results of being there for everyone, but I definately have to get my strength and words from a power outside myself.
I hope your dragons perish without you getting so much as a scrath!
He's so young. It's just tragic.
Live too close to the airport to see the eclipse. All I ever see are the runway lights.
Hey, lunar eclipse, does that mean we get to eat moon cakes? Did you know they flavor the filling now? I got green tea covered in white chocolate last year. That was FREAKING good.
My mom used to try to convince me if I didn't make the honor roll/win the attendance award, the dragon living in our furnace would come and get me while I slept. My room is right above the furnace. Yeah. That didn't cause psychological damage.
