Bad Puppy II

Does that look like a BAD BOY to you? Think he's an angel, with no plans to make anyone mad at him? Well, some bad boys know how to look innocent.

So I woke up this morning at the sound of paper ripping. I peered over the side of my bed.

Jiggle Low is chewing on a book! From my Keeper Basket! (Yes I have a Keeper Basket by the side of my bed).

I went ArrrgHHHhh! And he went Yip, yip, yip, yip under the bed as I jumped off to rescue my precious. Sigh. Cover corner is gone. The book? LINDA HOWARD'S SARAH's CHILD. Bad, bad, bad child of mine.

I have forgotten the funny and exasperating travails of having a puppy in the house, since all the mutants are now adult dogs and MOSTLY well-behaved. Jiggle Low lives up to his name, let me tell you. No wonder his former mom named him that. He jiggles and and wiggles and streaks from one end of the house to the other 0-60mph. The former "baby mutant," Lilah, doesn't know what to make of him, especially since she hasn't yet realized that he's her gigolo ;-P.

But bad puppy must like reading. Linda Howard's SARAH'S CHILD is a pretty tasty story!

Besides the usual puppy training, this mutant pom is also in love with things three times his size. He has adopted Brando's Giant Stuffed Rabbit as his own. It is funny watching him try to drag the thing around by the ear.

The house is a mess. And he's driving the men in my life crazy with his territorial behavior ;-). You can't help but giggle at the sight of a tiny pup the size of Cabbage Patch doll headbutting big muscular males out of the way because the woman is HIS, dammit. Heh.

Ah, bad boys and bad mutant poms. They know how to get my heart.

Bear with me while I learn. The first button likes the POST. The second button likes the BLOG site. Please help me by "liking" me. Thanks!

Oh dear. I remember the days of having a puppy running around the house. I don't miss them. LOL

At least he has good taste in books. ;)

I so have to agree with Casee - good taste in books. I keep coming back to that book no matter how hard I try to stay away (OK - not that hard!) LOL I identify so strongly with Sarah and let's fact it, that book saves Max. :)

I completely empathise Jenna. Am currently babysitting a little King Charles Cav that I have renamed Piddle and Poop, cause that's about all it does the nutter. It's a complete loopyhead, but very sweet with it. Had forgotten all about the trials of puppyhood until it came to visit. Thankfully my little Shihtsu is taming it a bit, but still, piddle and poop ... (sigh)

He sounds so cute. Head butting the guys who come to visit? Sounds so funny!

It's ALWAYS the little ones. Take it from a big sister (I'm 6 inches taller than my sisters)--the smaller they are, the more evil.

Casee,

He's been fun and funny ;-). And I'm pretty good with training dogs, so that helps. And I guess I'll have to find me another LH, although this one was the original! Gasp!

Monique,
The hero's name is Rome in this one. Max works for him and his story is A Cutting Edge. Sarah's Child is very controversial and I love it.

Leilani,
I know! Imagine that Snoopy cartoon with him pushing Charlie Brown (lying on the ice) with his head. That's how it is with Jiggle and any guy sitting on my couch, LOL. It's funny as heck because, of course, he can't do it! But he keeps trying, and growling, and trying again...much to the amusement of the guys.

SQ,
I'm small and I'm so not evil. Six inches taller? I hate you already.
