Patron Saint For Uber Author

I have found my patron saint! He is St. Expeditus, patron saint to procrastinators (somehow, I don't think my being one is a big secret) and to those who have emergencies (every manuscript IS an emergency!). There's even a novena for procrastinators. How uber cool is that?!

So, desperation calls for desperate measures, ya know. If this works, you will see St. Expeditus' icon on the right side of my blog because all authors should give credit when credit is due.

;-)

So, tell me, what are you desperate about these days? Desperate enough to look for higher help? A patron saint for procrastinators and emergency? That's really, really desperate.

On a more serious note, thank you very much for all the prayers and good wishes for RB's grandson. He's still not out of the woods yet--the operation was a success but the doctors don't know what's causing his problem and it's been up and down for the little boy.

I was actually looking for information about St. Jude's Children's Hospital when I came across my patron saint. All netroads lead to me, of course.

Bear with me while I learn. The first button likes the POST. The second button likes the BLOG site. Please help me by "liking" me. Thanks!

Thanks for the update on RB's g'son. You love your kids but there's something unique in the love you have for your g'kids. Let us know what you can when you can. I'm praying.

Sister Mary Frances lied to me! She said procrastination was a sin! Hmph! All those Hail Marys for nothing.

As for RB's grandson, hope he feels better soon. If you guys need translation re: the med terms or any referrals, I'm surrounded by doctors. You know what it's like to be Asian--either you're a doctor or an engineer. =P

As for me, I'm going back into grad school application hell. It's even worse than the undergrad apps. Sigh.

Dee,
Thanks for your concern. We're all praying here too.

QT,
Going back to school, huh? Good luck! Maybe you need St. Expeditus too! ;-)
