Remember the video of Matt who quit his job to travel the world on a shoestring? Here is the debut of the new Matt 2nd-time-round and sponsored by STRIDE GUM video. I still don't have any idea why he chose a lullabye to dance to, but he's still having a lot of fun visiting far off places. Love the shot with the Tibetan monks. I'm jealous that he got to go to stand on that Norway rock; I've heard about it a long time ago. But why am I not entranced by it the way the first video was? Is it because I know that this time, he'd gone to that place, with a specific shot in mind, as in "It'd be cool to get a shot of me dancing in front of the Easter Island statue for the video."
But really cool way to travel, nonetheless. Good to know he still can't dance ;-).

Gotta agree with Sweet Lysa on this one. Just not the same because it's for money. While the other one is for himself and just for fun.

PS did you notice that the camera was so steady? They had professionals holding the camera. There is just something about a person who could ask a complete stranger to do that. It takes away the humanity and personality when they take away the stranger aspect. You got the feeling that in the old one, he was there partly to see other people and their interaction with their own civilization whereas its now lets go get the shot, and leave.~Athena

Yeah, the camera work is held by his friend who traveled with him. Also paid by Stride, probably, LOL. They did have a great time collecting these pics too.

Now, now, I've seen some white boys who could move on the floor. Heh. I'm not saying it's wrong of him to be paid for something he enjoyed doing, far from it; like you said, more power to him. However, something* is missing in the video. I'm not connecting as I still do when I watch the first one. Just like to analyze, that's all.
