Is It Monday Again Already?

I'm glad y'all enjoyed the short video yesterday. Wasn't that a cool way to record one's world travels? I want him to go to Malaysia and dance like that during one of our religious festivals, such as the one where they pierce their faces and body parts, as well as walk on burning coals. People would probably think he was just having a religious epiphany!

Any more nominations for the Uber 25 Romance Books Evah? We need more, girls! You don't want ME to fill the rest of the slots with my favorites!

Recently, the girls at Loveromances gave me an interview. Here is the link:

Loveromances Interview

We talked a bit about my background, my ideas, about Stash and Marlena, and of course, future books. Do you like to read these interviews? I know there are some of you who are very interested in your favorite authors, but most readers I know are just "book readers," meaning, they enjoy the stories and the author's likes or dislikes don't mean Jack to them ;-). What do you like most when you're reading one--the info on the author or on her books?

It's getting pretty humid here, by the way, so if you're planning to come to the Romantic Times Convention in mid-May (that's a couple of weeks!!!), bring lots of suntan lotion and summery dresses. I have a feeling it's going to be blazing hot. And no, that doesn't include the fact that the Mr. Romance contestants will be in town.

Bear with me while I learn. The first button likes the POST. The second button likes the BLOG site. Please help me by "liking" me. Thanks!

Nominees huh? well how about Dark Angel by Lynn Viehl. Interesting premise there. (although gory he he) Shadow Touch by Kay Hooper. Creepy cool that one. oh and linda howard's Heart of Fire. That one had me laughing for the witty retorts and antics of the main characters. And your Into Danger. Made snicker every time M got around those task boys in the CIA and of course the omlette scene oh yeah LOL

Okay, you forced me! Here are more romance nomintaions.
1) White Lies by Linda Howard. I have read that book so many times I had to get a new copy that didn't have pages falling out.
2) Lover Eternal by JR Ward. Just for that scene where Mary runs to Rhage and says: "I'm not okay." Awwhhh!!
3) Dreaming of You by Lisa Kleypas. It's one of those reunited-at-last books.
4) Dance With the Devil by Sherrilyn Kenyon. Can't get enough of those evil heros!
5) A Taste of Crimsom by Marjorie M. Liu. Beautiful, beautiful story of love that breaks boundaries.
Now I just can't resist returning to the bookshelf and losing a few hours. :)

Thanks for the link to the Roberts-Dailey case!

PRIDE AND PREJUDICE.

I would marry Mr. Darcy any day.

It's not so hard to come up with some of my favorite romances but to come up with the groundbreaking kind is a little more difficult.

Kathleen Woodiwiss's early books were, to me, groundbreaking. When the h/h got into bed the door didn't close! The Wolf and the Dove was the book that made me love the medeival romances. Also, I read ASHES IN THE WIND too many times to count. Not only was Woodiwiss a wonderful storyteller she was also a gifted wordsmith--she painted pictures with her words.

I'm sure there are more that I'd include in the Top 25 but my brain is done for now. :o)
