What I'm Desperately Trying To Finish

Due to a konk on my noggin, I've been unable to write late into the night the last week. I have a novella due for the Mammoth Book of Spec Ops. I have an operative named Steve "Catch" McMillan, who is called Cat by his woman, in a race that he MUST win. I'm in a race that I MUST win too, because I need to finish this short story!

Anyway, meet Cat, who prefers to be called Catch. At the moment, he doesn't look so serene. In fact, he's hopping mad.
