Saw the Glee duet tonight giving homage to Barbra Streisand's and Judy Garland's Happy Days/Get Happy duet. I remember watching that on my dad's black and white TV 1000 years ago with my mouth open and my mind going, WOW! WOW!
And I love Youtube because it always gives me a chance to revisit that kind of memory. Here is the original duet by the famous Divas. Remember: No such thing as AUTOTUNE in those days. Amazing.

Wow! I had no idea the two of them had ever performed together. It's beautiful, yet so sad to realize Judy Garland probably didn't live that much longer after this, right?
Yes, Judy Garland died in 1969 and on this show, Barbra was only 21 years old. I just know today they don't sing like these great ones any more.
