Plot Interruptus

Have you seen those people who jump off mountains in a suit that looks like a flying squirrel? They essential imitate the movement of one as they sail off from thousands of feet in the air and then, using air flow/wind, they control their freefall and avoid the sides of cliffs till, at a certain altitude, they pull their chute to land.

I watched this extreme "sport" called Wingsuit Base Jumping on a sixty-minute piece. They looked like flying bullets. It was amazing. Absolutely crazy. And I thought, Alex Diamond would so go for something like that. And wouldn't it be great to have Hell do that too?! So I'm now dreaming up a scene in which he takes Hell to do this as her first time.

I know, I know, you're asking, "But where the hell is Jed?????"

I don't know. I just know it's Alex and Hell in this scene. Sometimes characters are obstinate like that and it's up to the author to try to piece the rest of the story to make sense ;-P. Right now, I have no clue how, where, or why I suddenly saw Alex and Hell wingsuit jumping, or certainly, no idea why Jed isn't with them, or how I'm going to fit this little adventure into Virtually One.

If you clicked on the video above, isn't that freaking out-of-your-mind amazing? Some people have no fear, man.

One of the athletes featured on 60 minutes is J.T. Holmes. Not only fearless. Cute, too ;-).

Bear with me while I learn. The first button likes the POST. The second button likes the BLOG site. Please help me by "liking" me. Thanks!

How ironic. On Sunday, some guy tried to base jump off a local tourist attraction in our area (a non-working steam shovel called Big Brutus) and didn't make it. I guess the lowest point you can jump from is 200 feet, and this thing was only 160 feet high.

Saw the 60 Minutes segment and thought: really cute, crazy guy!

So I'm imagining someone whispering to a comatose Hell that Diamond is going bullet skydiving and he's better then she is and/or he can whoop her ass at it. Instant wake-up! Anyway, if Alex takes her skydiving it's because he wants something from her, probably info on T. Of course, with Hell there will have to be some quid pro quo.

Linda,

Yeah, these guys are crazy. They're willing to die for that high and I mean HIGH.

Vanessa,

I don't know! Maybe Jed asks Alex to help Hell. LOL.

Alund,

He's definitely a cutie, isn't he? :) And absolutely crazy.

It's going to be interesting to figure out how to fit my "scene" into the current plot. Sigh.

ooooOOOOO do it!!! that stuff is soooo awesome looking. i know i sound ridiculous but it is my secret wish to try it, that and base jumping. i think that that is what people are really saying when they say "secret squirrel" theyre not talking about cia/spec boys its the jumpsuiters :-D
it was in a movie a few years back wasnt it, i think tomb raider 2 had it when they were in china or something. that and parkour are too cool. le sigh. :-D
oh and one more week to wait for dollhouse finale :-9 i guess i cant hate on the haitians though.

Ideas...Maybe it's suppose to be a date for Jed and Hell but Jed gets called away at the last minute. So Jed asks Alex or Alex just volunteers to go with Hell instead. Or maybe Hell and Alex are on a mission together and to escape the bad guys they have to jump off a tall building (like Lara Croft) or cliff.
