It's been raining here since Sunday and they're forecasting another 24 hours of the liquid stuff. View from my front door.
A tree has fallen over and I can't really walk outside to check on it:
The worrisome part: the street is flooded and you can see here that the water has reached the end of my driveway and there is still another day or two of rain coming:
I really hope the water level is going to recede some. I don't want my house flooded. Argh. It's so wet even my furbabies won't go out to do their business.

I'll second that wow. Hope you and the furbabies are doing okay, and that the rain will stop sooner than they predict.

If you can go out for pics, couldn't you go out and do a quick looksie on that fallen tree??
Lady Z., I zoomed in from the top of my car that is inside my garage ;-P. It stopped raining for several hours after that photo and I was able to walk outside but it was very squishy. Then the wind picked up and it's starting to rain again and I'm worrying again because another five or six hours and I see a horrible wet night ahead of me...inside my own home. ;-(
yipes, thats what my street looked like just deeper when i almost lost my car last hurricane up here. good luck chickie
