RWA Quickie 2: Sharing 2 Rooms With Authors

You know there was mass confusion when:

1) Gennita was walking around wearing somebody else's black skirt, complaining that all that eating had made her skirt smaller (not her waistline bigger), THEN found out that she had actually been wearing Lois Greiman's skirt instead. If you haven't met Lois, she is this tall, thin, willowy blonde, Size 0. I somehow managed to squeeze myself into her skirt without knowing it. Imagine her running around the room--SKIRTLESS--frantically looking for her skirt while I* was putting on my face in the bathroom.

2) Meanwhile, Cindy Gerard was bleeding to death from an injury with a brooch pin and everyone was ignoring her.

3) Kylie Brant then found out her dinner was actually not at the hour she'd thought it was.

4) Someone was screaming for her bookmarks.

5) Most of us were still limping from our long walkabout at Fisherman's Wharf and were now staring at our high heels in horror.

6) All this time Lois was still walking around without any skirt on and I was thinking that it was going to be the most uncomfortable two hours coming up because I couldn't BREATHE.

7) Someone couldn't get the clasp of her necklace to work.

8) Everyone talked over everybody and the rooms are a mess. And then, the shrieks from Lois when both she and I realized I had been wearing her skirt all along. It was just insane.

But we all arrived at the Literacy well-dressed and well-behaved ;-). More later. I have to meet with my publishers.

Bear with me while I learn. The first button likes the POST. The second button likes the BLOG site. Please help me by "liking" me. Thanks!
