I don't recognize one of the movies in the clip. I knew most of them. Do you know which ones were used?
Confession time . . . of the thousands upon thousands of books I have read . . . I have never read a Sherrilyn Kenyon book.
I know, I know. The rock I've been living under is rather heavy.
What book or series should I start with first?

Here's what I got and I'm probably missing bunches:
Brad Pitt in Troy
my darling Gerry in Dracula 2000 and Attila
the guy who played Michael in La Femme Nikita
Elizabeth Duchku as Faith in Angel or Buffy (not sure) and Tru Calling
Alexander (movie)
Viggo Mortensen in LOTR
Travis Fimmel in Tarzan (which is what Acheron looks like if you ck out Sherrilyn Kenyon's site)
The Covenant (movie)
Queen of the Damned (movie)
I think that's all...I skipped all the women except Duchku. And oh I think I saw the Alias chick as Elektra and 300's Queen was there too.

Start with Fantasy Lover. Sherri's world is like all the Greek history and myths (with tons of other ancient myths) rewritten with Dark Hunters vs Daemons. It's a very complicated world to explain, so you'll just have to start with Fantasy Lover and see how you like the book/concept. It starts simple, a warrior who can't die/love slave. But believe me, the world is so layered now after so many books, you'll need a mini-encyclopaedia to know the backstory ;-).
That said, as any major series goes, start with the first few books, which were excellent. I haven't kept up with all of them (too many and I needed to write too!), but Acheron is like the badass of badasses, so most of us have been waiting for his book since the beginning.
