I have to send one of my mutant poms to his waiting mom and dad and sister at the Rainbow Ridge tonight. It's tough when it's a yearly ritual like this and he had two other sisters the same age left. I'm not looking forward to this type of thing at all.
His name was Batman Boy Boy, the wimpiest of the lot. Like his dad, he peed like a girl. I never did buy him the set of neuticals I promised him. In the end, he fought a good fight, but was tired out. I know he's with Magic and Brando, along with his big bad sis Boom Boom right now, doing those cartwheels and sideway flips of his that always made me laugh out loud. And oh yeah, I hope he got his balls back.
You know, I love writing and being a writer, but writing eulogies sucks.
Hug your furbabies for me. Time goes by so fast and before you know it, almost twelve years have gone by since I held four tiny pups between the palms of my hands. And now, I have two of my original mutants.

I'm so sorry Jenna. I know how much you love your poms and how much they're loved by you. ((((((((((hugs)))))))))
Oh, hon, I'm soo sorry. (((hugs))).
Sending great big hugs to you and your furbabies.
Awww, I'm so sorry to hear about this. You and your pack are in me and my pack's thoughts. *hug*
((hug))
Thank you, friends.
I don't share all my highs and lows on my blog, but my mutant poms are such an integral part of this blog, so I hope y'all don't mind my mourning in public.
I'm okay.
My heart goes out to you! it is so hard to say good bye to a family member :( take care and i'm sorry
I'm so sorry. My kitty, Lydia, went there Sunday. I'll ask her to keep an eye out for a cartwheeling pom.
Thank you, Otay, for the comforting words. It's a price we pay for having such great companions with shorter lives.
Kiaduran,
Your words made me smile ;-). Cartwheeling pom. Yes, he really did do a weird twisty cartwheel and a sideways twist. He's going to be quite popular at the new place, huh?
Thanks for your comforting words. I truly appreciate your taking time to post.
I'm so sorry Gennita. It's such a tough, tough thing to do, and it takes a great deal of strength. I can tell how much you loved him. Our furbabies give us so much joy and love during their short lives. I just wish they could be around longer. I know your BatmanBoy Boy is doing his cartwheels and flips with the others. Big hugs,
Bonnie
Hey Bonnie!
Thanks for dropping by and thank you for the condolences. It's always tough to part with friends like our furbabies, isn't it?
See you at RWA!
