I like my garden at this time of the year. It's just starting to get out of control, like its owner ;-).
Here is my angel's trumpet tree with its little angel birdbath. It's right outside my bedroom window so I can catch its strong perfume at night. I think you can click on the pic to make it bigger.
This is a side view. I wanted to show off the first blooms starting on my gardenia tree. This is the pride of my garden and I wait for the show every year. You can see the buds on it. By next weekend, the tree will be white with the fragrant flowers. I'll try to remember to take a pic then.
Bear with me while I learn. The first button likes the POST. The second button likes the BLOG site. Please help me by "liking" me. Thanks!

I loooove gardenias!!
You're lucky that you're seeing spring. We only have two seasons here in Boise. Summer and winter.
Ok something weird just happened, but never mind. *stupid internet
It was nice and warm here a few weeks ago, and then the damn tornadoes happened and brought colder winds up here in Canada. So now it's slowly starting to go back to warmer weather, and hopefully by the end of may it'll be a nice 30 with 100% humidity. Just the way I like it.
I love gardening too. Wish I have more time!
That's a beautiful tree, Jenn. Lovely color! Gardenias are my favorite flowers for scent. If you love the fragrance, try Gardenia Passion by Anouk Goutal. Pricey, but pure gardenia and the most delicious perfume on earth.
perty, very perty, my roses are the only thing i got this year.
Beautiful! Here in northern Minnesota we've had snow the last five weekends in a row, and it snowed again yesterday, although nothing that stuck.
Casee,
Yes, it's one my favorite flowers too. Along with roses.
Yovana,
What something weird just happened? And 30 degrees with 100 percent humidity sounds...wet!

One of the things I miss most is gardening. It takes a lot of time and energy and here in FL., where everything grows out of control at a drop of a hat, it's always a battle. But what I have, I really love.
