Well, I just wasted HOURS of my life trying to renew my Virus Protection. For some reason, my newly re-installed Trendmicro will not update software or virus files. Of course, now all the live chat and support techno-people have gone home to play with their happy little computers, leaving puter-idjuts like me screaming and crying.
Vince. My dear, dear, Vince. WHY DOES A PUTER THAT HAS DONE THIS EVERY YEAR FOR FOUR YEARS DECIDE TO DO THIS NOW? Gah.

At least I don't have Ranger Buddy's problem. One of the books he has to read for Literature and Comp class this coming summer session is:
THE HOBBIT
Bwahahahahahahahhaha. I. Hated. That. Book.
He asked me what it was about. I told him it was about short furry footed people that sounded Irish...like him. Hahahahahahahaha.

I love Tolkien.
mmmmm Legolas, Orlando....sigh....
No you don't. You like the movie version.
I used to love Tolkien, hate the fact they took out Glorfindel in the movie. But these days, I can't read LOTR because all I see are pacing problems and the need for a good edit.
The Hobbit was sooooooo trudgingly slow. I cannot imagine poor RB reading it.
Then LOTR...sigh...the whole giant tree walking scene? Argghhhh.
I think I'd gladly submit to rereading Moby Dick before I would write a paper about The Hobbit. You do know who's going to end up with the research right? Sigh.
You hated the Hobbit!?! I have to say that book and The Chrysalids by John Wyndham sent me into a couple decades fantasy glom. But then, that's ok as to each they're own LOL. I tried to get my daughter to read the Chrysalids and she thought it reeked (lesigh). I have high hopes for my boy though, I've been slowly inducing a mad Star Wars love in him, bwahaha.
Tell Ranger Buddy to read the Harvard Lampoon version, Bored of the Rings. *g*
I loved the Hobbit. It's one of the few books I finished as a kid. I found the whole concept fascinating. *g*
No, no, no. Never has a man made fantasy and fairy tales so boring to read. ;-) Thank God for the movies. Ha. They actually made me re-attempt to read the books, thinking maybe in my old age, I would enjoy them more. What was I thinking?!
