Thanks for the many book recs of old-school romance in the comment area! I knew we Alpha-lovers have a secret stash of politically-incorrect romance hidden in our shelves! Please continue to add to the list, if a title pops up in your head.
I'll be flying into Newark, NJ, this Monday around 1.30pm. It's Columbus Day and Tracey said it might be easier for customers and readers to come by the book store on a holiday. What do y'all think? Want to meet up at the book store around, say, 4pm? Do a signing, and then food and drinks? Yak-yak about books and veges? Or, would Tuesday be better?
I'm looking forward to meeting everyone who can make it!
Nothing else new to report. Oh, except that RB has decided to take me skydiving. I'm psyched. And scared. I told him I have to get a lawyer to write my will first, hahahahhaa. But I'd like to try it so I know what it feels like, especially when I'd planned to write a skydiving scene in one of my books!
Skydiving. Eeek. I think I'm going to do it.
Any of you gone skydiving before?

Dang! And I don't get Monday off. Waaaah! ;) Never been skydiving... but I've always wanted to try. Oh, and savoring the clue. :)
I did over 20 years ago, because I'm afraid of heights. I figured I'd prove it to myself that I could do it! It was a static line jump, so I didn't have to remember to pull the cord, but I did forget to head into the wind on landing, and gave myself a HUGE black eye when I bounced. . . I vividly recall screaming a not-so-nice word as soon as I let go of the plane. Have a great time! It's also a good excuse to do your Will and Power of Attorney - everyone needs one!
Cecily
Why you'd want to jump out of aperfectly good, solid plane is beyond me, sorry luv! I barely cope with ladders, LOL! Steve has though and said it was a huge buzz. He did it over the wairarapa a few years ago with my brother. Crazy lads!
I agree with Sarah on both accounts (won't go beyond the 2nd step of a ladder, I'm short and meant to be low to the ground, LOL) but I know you will have a blast chick! Take pics and have fun in NJ.
Have a safe (and uneventful) flight!
You couldn't pay me to go skydiving. I wouldn't even do it for a gazillion trillion dollars. LOL
Monique,
I'll let you know what it feels like soon! :-P
Cecily,
Yeah, I'd better write a will so my poms get to be taken care of! And I know I'm just going to be screaming all the way down!
Sarah,
Well, I don't know why people bungee jump because that is actually more idiotic to me (tie at the ankle with a bungee cord???!!!) than parachuting. Heh. I don't know why I'm doing it either.
Leiha,
Do you think I can hold a camera 14000 feet in the air, with all that wind, and take a good pic of my boobs for you? :-D
Casee,
I'm not going through Atlanta, so the flight is going to be great! LOL. Thanks for thinking of me when it comes to uneventful flights, though.
And aw, come on, for that kind of money, you CAN jump out of an airplane with a parachute! It's relatively...safe!
