VIRTUALLY HIS is out!
I can't believe it...the street date is supposed to be 28 Ap. But readers have been emailing me that they've seen the book in the stores since the 17th! Wow.
I can't describe to you the feeling of seeing one's own book sitting on a book shelf. It's a delicious thrill that blooms from the belly upwards till it bursts into a happy smile. It's out!
Then, accompanying the excitement is the nervousness. Will the readers like it? Will the first few weeks' sales be good? In this business, it's all about the first few weeks. All the PTB will be watching. I've been away for a year and the half. So double my nervousness.
Zinfandel with a squirt of pineapple, please.
