Uber Read!

Holy Hot Tamale! I just finished Lora Leigh's Dangerous Games, an erotica romantic suspense. It has a SEAL who's a DOM! Whoaaaaaa. That's a scary thought ;-).

But I really enjoyed the book. t's not so much the Dom/sub relationship between the hero and heroine than showing a teeny bit of the D/S subculture in the clubs, but the hero, Clint, is uber-alpha hawt in the leather arena, babbbbeeeeee! He can spank me any time, ahem. If you enjoy some light erotica, I recommend this book. Light erotica, by my definition, is not too much description of the usual backdoor activities. Of course, now I want to read about that missing SEAL.

Sigh. Can't do that. Have to write.

All the ARCs for VIRTUALLY HIS have been sent out to the winners. I hope they'll enjoy them!

For some reason, the Barnes and Noble and Walmart websites showed Virtually His as a May 28 release. Fortunately, a reader from my Yahoogroup pointed it out to me and I managed to contact my publisher. Barnes and Noble is now showing the correct date -- APRIL 28, my sistahs and brothahs! Hopefully Walmart will make the correction next. After a year and a half without a book out, I NEED strong sales numbers the first few weeks!

It's amazing what a bad publicist I am ;-)! My writing friends send out bookmarks, attend webchats, enter multiple contests to get their books out, guestblogs, crosslink-sites, write articles for different websites, and SO MUCH MORE, and all I could think of were two ARC contests, one here and one at the Yahoogroup. Pathetic, huh? LOL. I look around me and see all that activity and slap the side of my head sometimes. Why can't I do that stuff????! Oh yeah, the time thing.

It's scary for the uber-author to venture out into the big bad world of reviews again...and it's coming this month. Oooophfff. Need. Big. Bottle. Of. Zinfandel. And chocolate truffles. For future fortification, of course!

Bear with me while I learn. The first button likes the POST. The second button likes the BLOG site. Please help me by "liking" me. Thanks!

Sending out bookmarks and stuff is what your publicist is supposed to handle, silly! :P

Now get back to writing! Doesn't Hell and her monitor have a third book waiting to be written?

LOL, Kathleen, you do know a publicist costs $80 an hour here, right? ;-P And yes, they are invaluable but sometimes even an uber roofer needs to budget!

Am 1/2 way through Dangerous Games and it is good. Also got the Vaughn book, looks good!

Hmmm... I seem to remember a publicist telling me she pimps your books. US$80 an hour?!? I'm in the wrong line of business! ;>
