Feed The Birds, Tuppence A Bag

Okay, the title has nothing to do with this post. It's just that Mary Poppins song that has been haunting me for no apparent reason all Sunday. And I'm still humming it. So I gladly pass it on to you. Happy humming.

No more Daylight Savings time. Did you do anything with that extra hour except sleep? Half my clocks in the house are right and the other half an hour ahead. That's because the cable box, the mobile phone, and the laptop are GPS-tracked and they change automatically, whereas the others require my lazy butt to get up on a chair and take them off the wall, and my butt hasn't felt like moving.

On Sunday, I did my semi-annual weed-out-T-shirts to give to Ranger Buddy. I own, literally, hundreds of Tees because that's the only clothes I usually wear and I love those smart-alecky ones. I have a hard time throwing them away because I love my tee-shirts even when they're falling apart. But the rows and rows of them in my closet is giving my man a manly complex because well...no woman is allowed to own more T-shirts than a man, of course. ***rolling eyes***

So I weed them out, and why throw perfectly good T-shirts away when there's Ranger Buddy? ***evil grin*** There's a man who doesn't say no to any kind of clothes. He once fished a bustier out of the dumpster outside the old restaurant during Halloween and wore that in there to eat (you can guess the diners we hung out at had a very lenient dress rule). But that's another story.

Anyway, I give my teeshirts to Ranger Buddy. He still wears one of my favorites of all time--Better, stronger, faster. It's so good to be a woman. Plenty of raised eyebrows whenever he walks into the Jiffy store and stand in line to pay gas. People like to read the back of teeshirts while waiting in line, I guess. But he doesn't care.

His new batch of teeshirts:

1) One from Valentine's that my sweetheart gave to me that I never could get myself to wear. It says: You Know You Want Me. It's red too. Come on. Did he really think I'd wear that thing? So now, I wonder what he'd think when he stands in line to pay gas and he sees his shirt on Ranger Buddy. Hahahahaha.

2) A silly beach shirt with an Octopus in front that says PartyPus. I have no idea why I owned this shirt but hey, I must have been partying, LOL.

3) A T-Shirt I got at DC that says Washington DC's First Lady. I think I bought it when my mom was there. But now RB is wearing it. Figures.

4) A Garth Brook concert teeshirt!!! Bwahaha

5) A Michelle Kwan long-sleeved tee!!! It says I love Michelle Kwan. I'm going to die when I see him wear that.

6) My Team Highlander teeshirt given to me by Adrian Paul and his Nascar team when they were here in town several years ago. Sob* I didn't want to part with that but it was getting raggedy from roof wear-and-tear.

7) One crazy shirt that says Annual Horse Shoe Throwing Contest that I bought at the flea market. What person wouldn't want to show off that she was at this competition? ;-)

Anyway, I'll stop my teeshirt rollcall here. You can guess a teeshirt fiend is all about the message and not the quality of the garment, LOL. My favorite tee that I'm wearing today says Not today. Doesn't look good tomorrow either.

Don't forget to hum the song all day. Feed the Birds, tuppence a bag, tuppence, tuppence, tuppence a bag....

I don't see why I should be the only one tortured by this.

Bear with me while I learn. The first button likes the POST. The second button likes the BLOG site. Please help me by "liking" me. Thanks!

Great, now I'm going to be "feeding the birds" all evengin. But, Mary Poppins beats "na na na na na na hey hey hey good bye" any day. There, put that in your brain and hum it. ;o)

BTW, I love the T-shirt roll call so post more. But how, I repeat, how could you give up your Highlander T-shirt, not matter the condition. It's from Adrian Paul!!!

Dee,
Okay, will hound you with more teeshirt rollcalls ;-). And isn't it great to hum FEED THE BIRDS all freaking day? Especially from the rooftops? It's painful, isn't it? LOL.

I know, I know, that was totally unforgivable, giving RB my Highlander teeshirt. But I have the Into Danger that Adrian Paul signed ;-) and the poster. So...

SQ,
yumpop? LOL. You're not also into those coloring pencil boxes with big Japanese doll faces, are you? I started with 12 colors, then graduated to 48, then 68 colors. What little girl needs 10 shades of purple, huh?

I don't know how it happened but most of my tanks and tees have sayings on them.

I walk around in shirts that say:
Dance your ass off
golddigger
bourgoise bitch
it's not cheating if you don't get caught
fashion victim
Queen

Those are the ones that immediately popped into my head.
