Spies A-coughing

Hey, did I mention that SLEEPING WITH...gah, I can't even say it still... Sleeping*** is coming out in FIVE days? Woohoo. Here is the picture of the cover, in case you haven't seen it:

The title is nice and big for you to read out loud ;-). I have also received some wonderful reviews from different review sites which will be up in a week or two. I'll post a link then!

My house is littered with wrapping paper and ribbons, so I suppose you can count that as holiday decor, right? Christmas this year will just have to be me and Christmas music. And a glass of wine.

Except I have a slight sore throat so I don't know how good a glass of wine would taste. But after a bottle, who cares, right?

Oh wait, I'm supposed to be writing. Grrr...

I've been going through some Chapter Seven Headbanging Exercises, in case you're wondering why I've been so quiet. Okay...in between games of Minesweeper and Mahjong...because it feels so good to find bombs and read Chinese blocks compared to figuring out how to get out of my giant-sized plot hole. I'm almost out, daylight's in sight, but man, did my problem stump me.

So, if you're wondering why today's post is a bit off-key, it's because my mind's not been exactly HERE. It's somewhere in the ether, trying to peer out of my characters' eyes. It's a strange place for authors to be because the characters have no problem dealing with plot holes, you see. So, essentially, you're having a mindfight with your characters. Uh-huh. Told you I needed that wine.

So, changing the subject, what's your favorite Christmas song? I usually like Drummer Boy but this year, I've taken a liking to The Christmas Song, you know, the one that starts with "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack Frost nipping at your nose..." It's very evocative because...oh because it's a downright chilly 40 degrees here at night! Bwahahaha.

Bear with me while I learn. The first button likes the POST. The second button likes the BLOG site. Please help me by "liking" me. Thanks!

Been wondering at your silence and am so glad to know that it's because you were being an author. ;o)

Hmm, my favorite Christmas song. That's a tough one because I LOVE Christmas music, I've been playing it for about two months now. This year I think I'd have to go with Michael W Smith's EMANUEL, then that's closely followed by MARY DID YOU KNOW.

Get some herbal nutrition in you and beat that sore throat, woman! Have a merry merry Christmas.

My favorite christmas song? Thats a tough one. I like most of the Christmas music. I'm not into country music singers but I guess it would be a toss up between Reba McEntire singing Silent Night and The Judds singing Silver Bells. I think both songs are beautiful.

Take care of that sore throat and have a very Merry Christmas.

I hope you'll like the book. Thank you! Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Oooh D, I also love Mary Did You Know. Esp. when it's sung with just one accompanying instrument.

Diane, my sore throat has gone into full cough gear ;-P, but I'm getting better. I love country music and do enjoy their takes on the Christmas tunes too. I like Lee Ann Womack singing them.
